Carlos & ICAST Update

Since 2020 Carlos Varela (aka Bait Addiction) built relationships, knowledge and experience in the JDM industry and is eager to share designs, techniques, tackle setups, and more with JDM consumers. In 2026 Carlos was promoted by Japan Import Tackle to Brand Manager for TIEMCO Japan.

Carlos led the design on the Bald Eagle Joicawler! This is Carlos's first collaboration with Gan Craft and we look forward to future special releases!

Japan Import Tackle has been in business since 2009 and is the largest independent importer of JDM fishing tackle in the US.
